- Dean Nicholas Added August 31, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Horticulturist lovers Park, something for everyone. Love seeing the horses and the cyclist and keep left unless over taking. Don't scare the wildlife, I know that bread is very convenient and clearly swans and ducks love it. Rip up lettuce and toss it into the shallows where swans can reach it (don’t throw their food onto a sandy beach). You can also sprinkle sweet corn kernels from a can into the shallows. Most swans love corn.

It's a treat for bird photographers with many waterbirds: ducks, grebes, pelicans, herons, darters, cormorants, geese, black swans! There are also other native burs, like parrots: corellas, lorikeets, cockatoos and others. There's a bug colony of fruit bats too! There are enough public toilets and a dew cafe's for a nice break. You can easily spend an entire day of family fun while watching the nature!
